Technological Trends: September 2023

At the beginning of the year, we conducted research (https://t.me/digiu_ai/3262) where we gathered technological trends for January 2023. Let's discuss current trends and see how accurate our predictions were and what has not yet gained widespread use!

To start with, 2023 has become the year of merging the digital and physical worlds. Therefore, all current trends are directed toward this goal!

Digital Avatars

Do you know who Lil Miquela is? She's a singer, blogger, and opinion leader with over 3 million followers on social media. But she doesn't actually exist because Lil Miquela is a digital avatar, a character created based on a 19-year-old Brazilian-American girl.

Today, avatars are actively becoming part of our everyday lives. They are your digital reflection, looking exactly like you, capable of talking, gesturing, and expressing emotions. They are already being used by businesses to save time and resources. In 2023, the DigiU ecosystem's venture capital fund portfolio welcomed a project that helps anyone create digital avatars in just 5 minutes – SpiritMe.

Neural Networks

GPT-Chat was the first step toward realizing that today, artificial intelligence can handle many tasks and relieve specialists. We've all heard that neural networks write texts and create images, but this year, they've gone even further!

Modern neural networks help predict stock prices, analyze medical research, aid in tumor detection, control the autopilots of vehicles, recognize people through surveillance cameras, and, of course, solve technical monotonous tasks: editing videos and audios, editing texts, and analyzing large volumes of data.

At DigiU, we are not afraid of neural networks; we actively use them – they greatly simplify our work!

RWA

The tokenization of real-world assets is a real trend in the blockchain and DeFi world. In simple terms, this technology allows real-world objects to be tokenized, generating profit from their monetization. Many are talking about real estate tokenization now, but this trend extends to other real assets!

What can be tokenized? Securities, real estate, goods and services, commodities, precious metals, insurance, credit records.

This process cannot be stopped anymore: the Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC) started trading tokenized gold as early as the end of 2022, the Nigerian government is digitizing physical farmlands into "farmer" tokens to attract over $10 billion in investments by 2025, and DigiU's venture capitalfund project BinaryX is tokenizing international real estate.

We are currently working on launching our own tokenized real estate marketplace called Token Estate and plan to profit from it!

CBDC

Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) is the digital currency of a central bank of any country, based on blockchain technology. Such currencies allow a state to integrate into blockchain technology and open up new opportunities for developing the financial sector.

Over 110 countries, representing 95% of the world's GDP, are at various stages of CBDC implementation: 37 countries have already integrated them, while others are only launching pilot projects.

As you can see, many of our predictions from January 2023 have come true – neural networks, CBDCs, and tokens representing real-world assets have already become an integral part of our lives.

One of the most important tasks for any modern individual is to stay up-to-date with trends. However, you can not only follow them but also create them together with DigiU.

Our venture capital fund's mission is to spot trends at their inception, invest in them, profit from them, and even create trends ourselves!

Follow DigiU on social media and always stay at the forefront of modern technology!
