What are nodes?

What is a node?
It's any computer running special software, connected to the Internet, which is a member of a decentralized network.
An EYWA node, or oracle in other words, is involved in transmitting data between blockchains. Oracles verify that an event on the source network exists and, with their consensus, generate evidence that can be verified on the destination network.
EYWA uses the Roll-dPoS consensus to create a potentially infinitely scalable decentralised network.

In simple words, take a democratic state. When someone proposes a new law, people get together and discuss it. Then they come to an agreement or, in other words, a consensus that this law should be passed or rejected. In this analogy, every person is a node. And the law is a blockchain event.
