Highlights from the DigiU 2021 conference. Part 1

Yesterday we held a big online conference to celebrate DigiU's birthday. In this post, we'll review DigiU's results.

The conference was officially opened by the DigiU CEO, Alexey Ognev: "Dear friends, investors, and partners, I welcome you at the conference dedicated to the DigiU ecosystem birthday. Today, the project founders, employees, and national representatives from different countries will speak for you. We will tell you about how this year was for the ecosystem. What challenges we have faced and what we have achieved. And most importantly, we will share our plans for 2022 and the company's strategies for the next 5 years.

"I would like to summarise some of the results of the past year of the company operation, what has been done, what we have faced and look at what we promised and what our focus was at the last conference and what we have come to now," Alexander I began his presentation.

CSPO told about the registration of two companies in the European Union, obtaining an ISIN number, launching KYC verification. He noted the excellent performance of DigiU.Wealth, the first investment product that brings monthly profits to its investors. He shared his thoughts about the future of the EYWA project and DigiU.Ventures venture fund success.

Alexander I drew special attention to the well-coordinated work of the project team and its growth: the number of employees has doubled in a year. He thanked the founders, the team and all partners and investors for the success we have achieved over the past year.

The CTO talked about how predictive analytics, DeFi and decentralised finance markets research were the main focus of the AI team and about the unexpected gift from Facebook at the end of the year.

Facebook announced that they would be developing and deploying their own meta-universe. It is great news for DigiU, as one of the starting points at DigiU was to create a virtual personality!

"We have previously created virtual personality blocks such as DigiU.Voice, and DigiU.Vision. We have also researched text generation and recognition, such as a chatbot recommendation system and virtual assistants based on GPT2 and GPT3. We are now working on another brick of virtual identity!

Our ideas about the development of the industry turned out to be correct, and the appearance of this Facebook meta-universe confirms our guesses. Well, good luck to all of us in the future of our meta-universe, friends!

"I would like to share the results we managed to achieve this year. I'll start with the very beginning. In autumn 2020, I hired the first three employees at DigiU.Lab, and we started researching promising development areas to launch a startup. We researched loan protocols, NFT, decentralised lotteries and cross-chain protocols. After some time, it became clear to me that cross-chain is the most promising direction, and we put all our efforts into this area!

The DigiU.Lab team created MVP, the first version of the product, which was improved at hackathons.

"Accelerators and venture funds started approaching us, and we realised that we had hit a nerve of the market, a kind of pain that can be cured. Then we've made a decision to allocate resources and recruit a strong technology team. And we did it!"

Today, the EYWA project discussed above is already in the alpha testing stage. And that's just the beginning!

"In 2022, we will hold our own Hackathon. We are already forming a list of partners who will participate. I hope that it will result in a number of projects implementing our technology in the mainnet. Next, we plan to develop bridges to transfer NFT-tokens between blockchains and NFT-token marketplaces.

I would like to point out that all these results and achievements would not have been possible without the DigiU partners and investors. The DigiU ecosystem became the incubator for the project and EYWA early-stage investor. I thank you for your contribution, and I am confident that together we can change the world for the better.
