Ecosystem: DigiU.Cloud

DigiU.Cloud is a DigiU's fault-tolerant cluster, a flexible and reliable infrastructure, and a set of technologies that help our cluster increase performance and reliability. We have already completed the process of its deployment and are now working on setting it up.

???? The next step is to gradually migrate all DigiU services and developments to this system. First to migrate was our DMP! We have told you about our DMP (Data Management Platform), a special platform that stores data and helps you earn from it.

We plan to move all DigiU applications to DigiU.Cloud within a year. DMP as a subsystem of DigiU.Cloud allows to store big data (our target is 1 PTB by the end of 2021).

Apart from DMP, DigiU.Cloud includes the folowing tecnologies:
✅ It's based on the Hadoop stack.
✅ The major component of Hadoop is HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System), the distributed file system of the Hadoop ecosystem.
✅ Big data is stored in databases of the HBase and Hive types.
✅ Streaming big data is performed using the Spark technology. Spark is used to implement distributed processing of unstructured and weakly structured data.
✅ The entire Hadoop stack runs on a Kubernetes cluster, which provides scalability and stability for the entire system.

❓ Why do we need DigiU.Cloud?
1️⃣ So that all DigiU ecosystem services and products can perform their functions clearly and smoothly! We will be able to host millions of users in our ecosystem and handle the high load on our services.
2️⃣ The Cluster will help our venture capital fund attract more promising startups. With the cluster, we can supply and provide them with a solid technology base for quality work. Several projects can work isolated from each other in one cluster! It will increase the project capitalisation and the profit that the company and its partners will receive.

We will continue to introduce you to the updated DigiU ecosystem. Stay tuned for more news!
