An essential part of any successful IT project is a flexible and reliable infrastructure. At the heart of such infrastructure is a fault-tolerant, scalable cluster. Typically, Clusters are used in highly loaded systems used by millions of people simultaneously, such as Amazon, Facebook and eBay.
A fault-tolerant cluster is an application and physical server (node) management system. It makes sure that the servers are under optimal load and ensures that applications are continuously running.
How does a fault-tolerant cluster work?
Let's say you're in a restaurant. The first waiter brings you a menu. Then he leaves to get something else done, and the second waiter takes your order. Your lunch is brought to you by the third waiter because the second one was busy. The fourth waiter took your payment. In a fault-tolerant cluster system, you are the customer. The first waiter is node 1, the second waiter is node 2, etc. So, even though node 1 dropped out without fulfilling the request, node 2 continued to fulfil it. And you, as the customer, got what you came for on time.
We have finished with the fault-tolerant cluster deployment process! Next, the Cluster will go through the process of configuration, testing and data migration. Only after that we will put it into operation.
Advantages of the DigiU fault-tolerant cluster:
Highly qualified IT experts with extensive experience are employed to work on the DigiU cluster.
The Cluster runs on 3 powerful servers located in Europe
The servers' RAM is 300 GB, and can be scaled up to 3 TB
Data storage capacity is up to 13TB, including fault tolerance.
Why are we doing this?
So that all DigiU ecosystem services and products can perform their functions clearly and smoothly! We will be able to host millions of users in our ecosystem and handle the high load on our services.
The Cluster will help our venture capital fund attract more promising startups. With the Cluster, we can supply and provide them with a solid technology base for quality work. Several projects can work isolated from each other in one Cluster! It will increase the project capitalisation and the profit that the company and its partners will receive.
We will continue to tell you about our Cluster and the development of the DigiU venture fund. Stay tuned for more news!
