The deals that changed the venture capital market in 2020!

The year 2020 was rich for successful start-ups. Many of them improved people's lives around the world as well as raised multi-million dollar investments to continue growing in the new year. These start-ups include DoorDash, Airtable and Allbirds. These start-ups are among the top 10 companies that got the best deals in 2020!

???? DoorDash
US-based food delivery service. The start-up raised $400m in January 2020, making it the best food delivery company with the largest market share in America. The main partner was Durable Capital Partners venture capital fund. Since its establishment, DoorDash has raised an impressive $2.5 billion in capital.

???? Airtable
A service that allows you to create databases for any purpose. In September 2020, the company raised $185 million in investment. The service is already used by global giants such as Netflix, Medium and Time magazine. The main investor was Thrive Capital venture capital fund. The start-up has raised a total of $355.6 million.

???? Allbirds
A New Zealand-American company specialises in manufacturing environmentally friendly woollen shoes and clothing. In September 2020, Allbirds raised a $100 million investment from Franklin Templeton Investments, a global investment firm that helps venture capital funds find the most promising start-ups. Allbirds, which has raised $202.5m in just two years, has become so popular that even Larry Page, Google co-founder, and Dick Costol, former Twitter CEO, wear their clothes.

These companies have achieved impressive results and become internationally recognised. The reason for this is not only the relevance of each start-up's ideas, but also the successful deals that DoorDash, Airtable and Allbirds received from venture capital funds!

In 2021 we plan to develop our own DigiU venture fund! Follow the project news on our social networks and keep up to date with the company's latest developments!
