Money Expo 2024: Results
On August 17-18, 2024, the DigiU and WebWise Capital teams participated in Money Expo 2024. Alexey Ognev and Alexander I delivered presentations, joined panel discussions, and showcased the WebWise Capital booth. Here’s how the two days unfolded.
«Last year, we were the only company focusing on the long-term trend of RWA assets. This year, we see that 30% of the expo is dedicated to RWA and how it relates to finance, how tokenized assets can serve as a bridge between decentralized and traditional finance, and the challenges and opportunities it brings.
Our projects related to RWA-Bank and RWA-Marketplace, as well as the Apato product, drew significant interest. We're opening new opportunities for real estate and banking products through tokenization and using RWA assets as collateral.
Because we started delving into RWA two years earlier than others, we now have both the experience and fully functional commercial products», shared the CEO of DigiU.
Alexander I took the stage and participated in a panel discussion on asset tokenization and its impact on traditional finance, where he discussed future trends and opportunities with industry experts.
«The conference went well. This was our first public appearance as a fund with a booth. At the same time, we are actively working on registering our legal entity. We’re leaning toward the U.S. as it offers the strongest and most reliable jurisdiction for the fund, with Dubai as the second option.
Next, I’m heading to Indonesia for the Coinfest 2024 conference on August 22-23, where our WebWise Capital fund will host several events together with EYWA, Capitalist, and the TON ecosystem—TON Foundation.
In September, the fund will participate in XFounders as mentors alongside Solana Foundation, TON, Animoca Brands, Mastercard, and others. The program features 14 startups that will work with mentors for a month.
I also plan to visit the U.S., where I already have agreements and invitations from venture capital funds, and visits are planned to Stanford University, Google, Tesla, LinkedIn, and other major companies», shared Alexander I.
At Money Expo 2024, we achieved all our goals and presented ourselves even more professionally than last year. We also held numerous negotiations and made valuable connections.
