On Thursday, May 23, 2024, a webinar was held with DigiU CEO, where he answered questions about the burning and recalculation of shares and explained how to maximize the benefits from the three main snapshots in June.
We share the main points:
Currently, the DigiU ecosystem is at the stage of completing the sale of shares. You have less and less time until June 30, 2024, when you can purchase the last share package. After that, you will only be able to pay off the already arranged installments.
«The first key step on this path is forming the final list of shareholders and the number of shares. Back in December last year, we proudly announced that our crowdfunding model had done its job. We even exceeded the plan and achieved unexpectedly high results. We have established a technical and economic base and a venture fund with commercial products.
The next step is the reorganization of the company, burning unclaimed shares, transitioning towards a classic company model, and integrating the missions, goals, and innovations we have declared since 2019».

«We understand that these measures consider the interests of the ecosystem and investors, increasing the possibility of building a financial cushion for the stable development of the ecosystem in 2024 and 2025.
In the future, we plan to pay dividends and possibly take the company public through an IPO or transition to a closed joint-stock company with high capitalization. We consider the interests of each individual investor, so we have developed a plan to recalculate shares, increase attention, and form the necessary pool of installments».
